Account and Google sign-in
Google sign-in provides your Google identifier, name, email address and, if available, photo. These details authenticate you, link your contributions and deliver alerts you choose. Your Google name, email and photo are not displayed on your public cases. You can browse without creating an account.
Public cases and comments
You choose to publish a procedure, variant, dates, steps and optional details useful for comparing situations. Cases use a reference and comments use a pseudonym. These data are pseudonymised: a link to your account remains stored internally. Do not include names, addresses, official case numbers, identity documents or medical information in public text. Visitors can view and share published pages.
Contact, alerts and security
The contact form stores your name, email and message so we can answer your request. Alerts store the followed cases or procedures and frequency; you can disable them in “My alerts”. Servers may log technical information, including IP addresses, dates and errors, to operate the service and prevent abuse.
Why these data are used
Managing your account and requested features is based on providing the service. Publication follows your choice to share information, which you can withdraw by deleting your case. Handling contact requests, moderation and security rely on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service and answering requests. Optional preferences, audience measurement and future advertising trackers require your consent where required. We do not use your data to make an administrative decision about you.
Cookies and browser storage
Necessary cookies support sign-in, security, language choice and remembering consent or refusal. Optional preferences and analytics remain disabled until you accept them. Refusing does not prevent browsing or contributing.
| Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|
| Session and form security (session cookies and XSRF-TOKEN). | 2 hours for the session, renewed during use. |
| Keep you signed in through Google (remember_web_… cookie). | Up to 400 days; you can sign out. |
| Remember your chosen language (i18n_redirected). | 1 year. |
| Remember your choices (cookie_consent and preferences_consent). | 180 days. |
| Chosen or estimated country, with optional-preferences consent (local storage). | 24 hours. |
| Six recently viewed procedures, with optional-preferences consent (local storage). | 30 days; expired entries are removed when you use the site. |
| Google Analytics audience measurement, only when configured and accepted (_ga and _ga_…). | Up to 180 days for cookies configured by GlassAdmin. |
You can change your choices here or from the footer. Withdrawal disables analytics, deletes its accessible cookies and reloads the page; rejected preferences are removed from local storage. You can also delete cookies in your browser.
Approximate country and recent procedures
With optional-preferences consent, your browser may contact ipapi.co to estimate your country: this provider receives your IP address and technical request information. Only the selected country is stored locally for 24 hours. Without consent, no geolocation request is made and you can choose your country manually. The six-procedure history stays in your browser and is not linked to your account.
Optional audience statistics
If Google Analytics is configured, it loads only after analytics consent. It measures information such as pages viewed and technical browsing details. GlassAdmin does not add your account identifier, email or case fields to these measurements. Google signals and advertising-personalisation features are disabled in this integration. Transmitted data remain subject to Google Analytics retention settings and policy.
Advertising and Google AdSense
GlassAdmin does not currently load AdSense advertising. If AdSense is enabled, Google and the advertising partners listed in the consent message may use cookies, identifiers, IP addresses or pixels to serve and measure ads based on visits to this and other websites. Personalised ads will depend on choices collected by a Google-certified consent platform. Refusing or withdrawing consent must not prevent use of the site. We do not sell your personal data and advertising will not determine case rankings.
You can also manage ad personalisation directly with Google: My Ad Center · Google .
Service providers and recipients
Data needed to operate the service may be accessible to Namecheap for hosting, Google for sign-in and website fonts, Resend for messages and alerts, and ipapi.co and Google Analytics if you accept the relevant features. Published information is available to visitors. Account and contact information is restricted to the publisher and providers needed to operate the service.
Processing outside the European Economic Area
These providers may process some information outside the European Economic Area depending on their infrastructure and subprocessors. Their policies linked below describe transfers and the safeguards they provide. Contact us for details about GlassAdmin processing or to exercise your rights.
Retention and deletion
Account details are retained while the account exists. Deleting your account removes your name, email, photo and Google identifier, along with alerts and certain interactions; cases and comments remain published under their reference or pseudonym. Delete cases separately if you no longer want to share them, or contact us about other content. Contact messages remain stored to handle and follow up your request; you can request erasure once the exchange is complete. Security needs, handling a request or a legal obligation may justify limited retention of some information. Browser-storage durations appear in the table above.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or, where the conditions are met, portability of your data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for the future. Write to jugurthagaci24@gmail.com; we may ask only for the information needed to check that a request concerns your account. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
